At Christine and Phillipe's beautiful home. As a family, they all speak French, German, Italian, and more. It seems you have to speak multiple languages if you are going to live in Europe. Otherwise, you can't work.
Laurence, one of Chris and Phillip's twin daughters.
Severine, the other twin daughter.
Maude, the baby and her guy Yannis.
Chris's Sister, Danielle.
Danielle's husband, Julius.
Marek, Danielle and Julius's oldest son.
Gregor, Danielle and Julius's 17-year old son.
Enjoying homemade cannelloni and ratatouille. It was yummy!
True Blue Swiss Fondue at Restaurant Tivoli
Swiss Cheese fondue, one pot had a local cheese named Vacherin, which comes only from this area. It's a unique flavor, delicious. The other pot was a combination of Gruyere and Vacherin.
The bell hanging in this restaurant is reminiscent of the bells hanging around the cows' necks here in Switzerland. As you drive by a group of cows, you hear the beautiful sounds of bells. The hand carving below is only one design of hundreds and completely surround the restaurant.
Beer tasting and german pizza...

ReplyDeleteHello Ken and Carol
ReplyDeleteWe can’t wait to see you here in Denmark. We have followed you through Europe on your blog.
We do hope the weather change. Everything looks better at a sunny day. But as I said to Gudrun to day on the phone: You come to meet the family. We will have a great time under the circumstances.
We hope you like kittens. Since last Thursday we have been a foster family for five kittens and their mother, which have been found in a greenhouse. They are very cute!
See you on friday
Love
